Dr Louise Jackson is currently involved in a number of grant funded research projects across a range of disease areas. She particularly specialises in the evaluation of new technologies to transform healthcare services and public health interventions. Louise has expertise in relation to digital health, sexual health and public health.
Examples of recent projects include: ‘A randomised controlled feasibility trial of a tailored digital behaviour change intervention with e-referral system to increase attendance at NHS Stop Smoking Services: The StopApp’; ‘A randomised controlled trial to assess the clinical and cost effectiveness of topical lactic acid gel for treating second and subsequent episodes of bacterial vaginosis’; ‘RCT to compare the clinical effectiveness and safety of gentamicin and ceftriaxone for gonorrhoea’.
